Roc Mining

Best for

• newer players with a Cutlass Black/Nomad/C1-style vehicle carrier
• surface gem mining
• lower-risk money loops

Minimum equipment

• Greycat ROC
• Ship that can carry ROC
• Undersuit
• Helmet
• Med pens
• Food and drink

Steps

1. Rent or buy a ROC.
2. Spawn a ship that can physically fit the ROC.
3. Load the ROC into the ship slowly and park it straight.
4. Fly to a moon or planetary surface with ground mineables.
5. Scan from the ship for small surface mineable clusters.
6. Land on flat terrain close to the cluster.
7. Drive ROC to deposit.
8. Fracture deposit with ROC mining arm.
9. Extract gems into ROC storage.
10. Return ROC to ship.
11. Sell contents at a compatible mining/trade terminal.

Good practice

• Avoid steep slopes.
• Do not leave the ship floating with engines doing weird physics goblin things.
• Park ramp downhill or level where possible.
• Use CStone/UEX/SC Trade Tools to confirm current gem demand.

• Cargo: 46 SCU
